Marjorie Taub, a middle-aged Upper West Side Doctor’s wife, is devoted to mornings at the Whitney, afternoons at MOMA and evenings at BAM. Plunged into a mid-life crisis of Medea-like proportions, she’s shaken out of her lethargy by the reappearance of a fascinating and somewhat mysterious childhood friend.

Marjorie Taub (F, 40's-50's)
An attractive, stylish woman in the throes of an epic depression. She speaks in a somewhat studied manner- it's a New York accent with a strange overlay of affected theatricality.
Frieda (F, 70's-80's)
Marjorie's mother. Lives down the hall- polite enough to ring the doorbell, but otherwise not above guilting her daughter whenever possible. Small, shrunken - uses a walker, but tough as cowhide.
Lee (F, 40's-50's)
An energetic and beautifully groomed lady with a very comfortable sense of her own sensuality.
Mohammed (M, 18-30)
A boyish twenty two-year-old doorman from Iraq. His loyalty to is Mrs. Taub.
Ira Taub (M, 50's)
Marjorie's husband. Good looking, highly energetic doctor who cares deeply for his patients, his work, and his wife. Even though he's concerned for his wife's mental health, he has a deep respect for her.
