An evening of art, storytelling, comedy, and music at the Granite Theatre.
Love, Fidelity or Lack Thereof is a multi-genre performance and community engagement that delves deep into the wonders of heart connections. The evenings’ theme celebrates the launch of a newly published anthology; Love, Fidelity or Lack Thereof, written by James Carpenter, a South County artist, producer, musician, author, and prolific storyteller. Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy.

The Call for Storytellers and Artists Submissions
We are seeking compelling stories for presentation on the live stage on February 16, 2024, and visual arts for display in the Granite Theatre Lobby on the evenings theme, Love, Fidelity or Lack Thereof. Consider the word “fidelity” in the broadest sense, including loyalty to one’s personal truth, when crafting your submission. Submit your contribution to hydroartstudio@gmail.com
Submissions will be selected based upon a balance of demographics, type of submission and alignment with the evenings intended theme.
Storyteller Submissions:
Submit your story (poem, sketch, memoir, fiction, etc).
Up to 800 words for a 4-minute presentation
12pt font, sans serif, black font
Include a short bio (up to 100 words)
Visual Artists Submissions:
Submit a high-resolution PDF (painting, cartoon, sculpture, mixed-media, ceramics, drawing, videography, or photography). Artwork will be displayed in the lobby through March 20, 2024.
Please include:
A description of the media, size and title.
Artists statement as it pertains to your submission (up to 100 words)
Size limit: for framed work up to 24 X36 inches
