Set in the early 1900s, Oklahoma! tells the story of love, rivalry, and community in a small Oklahoma territory town. With unforgettable songs like “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’” and “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top,” sweeping choreography, and a story full of romance and humor, this musical is a joyous celebration of life, love, and the pioneering spirit.

An overly cocky and charming cowboy with a gorgeous singing voice.

Jud Fry (M, 30s-50s)

A quiet man with a sobering presence, possibly misunderstood

Ali Hakim (M, 20s-40s)

A traveling sleaze-ball - I mean salesman

Chorus

Townspeople - 7 men, 6 women

Laurey (F, 20s-40s)

A fiesty, strong-willed woman that don't need no man...well, maybe one.

Ado Annie Carnes (F, 20s-40s)

The sweetest gal you'll ever meet - that cain't say no

Andrew Carnes (M, 40s-60s)

Ado Annie's father - protective and occasionally grumpy.

Aunt Eller (F, 40s-70s)

The sharp-witted aunt of Laurey's. Tough exterior with a heart of gold.

Will Parker (M, 20s-30s)

A rodeo roper with a heart of gold and buckets of charm

Gertie Cummings (F, 20s-30s)

A girl with the most annoying laugh you've ever heard and a personality to match

AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD BY APPOINTMENT

Please request a date and hour long time slot. You will receive a confirmation email the week of the audition date.


Please bring a headshot/recent picture and resume, if you have them available (a simple small, recent picture printed on regular paper with your resume is perfect)


Prepare approximately 30 seconds of any song you're comfortable singing acapella in the style of the show. Be prepared to sing in parts and read sides at the audition as well.


We are seeking a cast from all walks of life, multi-racial and multi-cultural.  Must be over 18.
